This week, the replacement demand in the lead-acid battery market recovered relatively. In particular, the temperature drop in north China boosted the replacement demand for automotive batteries. Some dealers saw their inventory decrease, and their procurement enthusiasm improved. However, lead prices were in the doldrums. The battery price increase plan for November failed, and December is the last month of the year. Some dealers increased procurement considering their annual sales plan, while those who had already completed the plan maintained purchasing as needed. On the producer side, due to the decline in lead prices, some enterprises intended to purchase as needed and stockpile at low prices, but more enterprises only made just-in-time procurement.
